One of my favourite things about traveling is trying great food. There’s nothing better than going to a restaurant in a language you don’t understand, taking a stab in the dark and ordering something that you can’t pronounce. Sometimes you’ll find yourself trying to eat something that’s really unpleasant, but most often you’ll find yourself trying something very different to home and very delicious.
If you’re a foodie like me, it can be a bit of a challenge deciding where to go and what to try. Europe is a great destination for food lovers because there are so many countries crammed in together in a relatively small space. That means you can visit a few different countries and try a few different types of cuisine all within the one trip. If you can, plan your visit to certain countries around their food festivals, that way you know you’ll be sure to find something you love and can enjoy the hustle and bustle of the festival. I’m hungry just looking at it. I hope you find it as useful as I did.
