The Partying is Great

Whether you like the idea of dancing in your high heels in an upscale club or dancing in your flip flops at a bar on the beach, you have plenty of options to choose from. Visit Skygarden, which is known as the biggest nightclub in Bali or head underground at Pyramid. You’ll find plenty of options in Kuta along the main strip, and the hardest choice will be whether to stay at one club or move on and see a few each night.

The Adventure is out of this world

Whether you want to go hiking, spend a day playing in a water park or white water rafting, Bali has it all. The snorkelling is excellent and you can also take a day trip to Nusa Lembongan to get out and about or go scuba diving in numerous dive spots around the island. Whether you’re touring a coffee plantation in Ubud or kayaking, flyboarding, cliff-jumping and canyoning.

You’ll get value for money

Bali is a destination where your money simply goes further. You can stay at great hotels like the trans resort Bali (check it out here: www.traveloka.com) for much less than you would pay for a similar hotel at home. That means that you’ve got more money to spend on entertainment and food is also much cheaper- meaning you can stay for longer and still have money left over when you get home.

The food is delicious

Balinese food is fresh, delicious and relatively healthy. You’ll be spoilt for choice with so many warungs where you’ll find cheap and yummy healthy food as well as restaurants where you’ll find fine dining, including Western, French, Italian, Japanese and more. The drinks are also great value, meaning you can have a delicious meal with drinks and splurge on an appetiser, main and desert for less than you would pay for a main at home.

You can shop up a storm

While Bali has a few great malls to choose from, the best shopping is found in the local stores and boutiques, where you’ll find a huge variety of knick-knacks, local art, traditional Balinese clothes, necklaces, handbags, jewellery and handcrafted statues.

The spa treatments are amazing

At home, spa treatments are expensive and really something that only someone with a lot of disposable income can afford to do. In Bali you’ll find massages from just $5 in a spa on the side of the street (be sure to tip), and around $50 for a lush experience in a more upmarket spa in a hotel.
