Top 3 Things to do in Bali

Bali is one of those places that you should add to your bucket list if it’s not already there! It’s beautiful, lush and green, filled with tons of things to see and do and rather reasonably priced meaning that your dollar goes pretty far down here. Whether you’re looking for a destination to enjoy a romantic holiday with your partner, somewhere to enjoy a fun family holiday with the kids, or just a great place to have a fun trip with your friends, Bali really has something to offer everyone. This small island packs an awesome waterpark that’s worth a visit, some incredible beaches, some world-quality yoga studios with yoga retreats and special programs throughout the year and some of the world’s best massages – what a great reason to check out some Bali deals! Here are my top 3 things to do in Bali:

1. Head to Waterbom Bali
This is a wonderful water park located in Kuta, Bali. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of Kuta -aside from this waterpark and the beach for surfing, there’s not a ton much else to do and it has that kind of tacky, overexploited tourist feel to it. However, Waterbom is really a world-class waterpark where you could easily spend a few days of your trip. It’s perfect for all types of trip, whether you’re with friends, family members or even your partner. Food and drinks at the park are also reasonably priced too, making it a very fun and relatively affordable day out when compared to parks overseas!

2. Get Your Beach On
If you’re like me and love the beach, then Bali is likely to be your version of paradise. Head to Kuta’s beach only if you want to be surrounded by the crowds, or as I said above if you’re into surfing. Otherwise, your best bet for a beautiful beach on Bali is probably Seminyak. This stunning beach feels a little more upmarket than the other beaches around Bali, has a ton of cute boutique hotels and upmarket shops, making a great pitstop for cute gifts to take home. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, one of my favorite islands nearby is called Gili T and can be easily reached by arranging a fast boat from Bali.

3. Make Some Time for Yoga
Ubud is probably hands down the best location in all of Bali to do yoga – there’s just something special about Ubud. There’s a huge raw food scene here, so you’ll be able to look after your body doing yoga and nourish it from the inside out. Radiantly Alive and The Yoga Barn are the two main studios which both offer a range of classes. Compliment your yoga classes by indulging in some of the best massages in the world at incredible prices, just be warned you may get addicted to the wonderful Balinese style of massage!

Bali is such a wonderful travel destination you may find yourself trying to figure out how you can live there forever. If you’re getting itchy feet, check out these great cheap holiday packages.
